Various demonstrations are organized in the island throughout the year. Among most outstanding, let us quote the Festival of music of Saint-Barth (mid-January), which proposes two weeks of jazz, of dance and chamber music; the Carnival, with its spectacles of street, its processions and the setting with fire of the effigy of King Carnaval in Shell Beach, Gustavia; Saint-Barthélemy, August 24, during which take place of the fireworks, a ball, regattas and other sporting competitions ; St Barth' S Cup, three days regatta at the end of January... 4th of July: Sea Festival 22nd of August: festival of Gustavia. 24th of August: festival of Saint-Barthelemy. 28th-29th of August: Festival of the Lorient quarter.
